We have raced our teams in the UK since 1997 winning many National titles along the way.
Due to the lack of snow we have always used purpose built 3 or 4 wheel rigs, a form of racing known as 'dryland' racing.
This side of our sport is rapidly expanding in the rest of Europe.
We now have teams which are established at the very highest level of this type of racing, having won titles at both the European Championships and World Championships.
Our International racing record reads like this:
Nov 2004 ESDRA Dryland European Champion 4 Dog.
Dec 2005 IFSS Dryland World Champion 8 Dog.
Feb 2006 PIRENA 5th place.
Dec 2006 IFSS Dryland Vice World Champion 8 Dog.
Mar 2007 IFSS World Championships Open Class 5th.
Mar 2007 ESDRA Vice European Champion Open Class.
Dec 2007 IFSS Dryland World Champion 8 Dog.
Feb 2008 PIRENA 3rd place.
Our passion is for the 'real thing', racing on snow.
Our dogs were the first UK based team to compete in Europe in the winter of 01/02, and thanks to the Pets Passport Scheme we have been back each year since then.
Predominantly in Scandinavia where the snow conditions are more reliable and of course the origin of many of our dogs.
But we have also competed in France, Spain and Germany. We will continue competed at World and European Championship level in addition to the more challenging and arduous stage racing after competing in the Pirena race across the Spanish Pyrennes in Jan 06, finishing 5th.
We made the podium in 3rd place in 08 and will be back again this winter for more action.
The Tour de France of the sleddog world, this race pitches dog and musher against ultimate adventure and daunting challenge on some of the most mountainous racing trails in Europe.
We are committed to racing at the highest level where the true potential of our dogs can be tested.
Our team for the 2009 racing season is made up of 16 males and is based around last years successful Pirena team. .
